RNZŌ, an 18-year-old Samoan-Māori hip hop artist from Kawerau, Aotearoa, is set to make waves at Big Sound 2025 in Australia. Pronounced "ren-zo," this raw talent has skyrocketed in just 12 months, with a debut hit "Taniwharau," his album RNZŌ SZN (Feb 2025), performances at Laneway Festival 2025, Boiler Room Aotearoa 2024, and Others Way 2025. He’s also toured Australia with ZIPS, Church & AP, deadforest and Dera Meelan, earning nominations for the 2025 AMA Best Hip Hop Artist and Pacific Music Awards.
