Meredith Goucher is the Director of International Relations and Development at the Country Music Association (CMA) based in the U.S. In this role, Goucher oversees the development of initiatives that lead to the expansion of global relationships and opportunities for U.S. Country artists and industry professionals, with a specific focus on territories where CMA has established International Task Forces – Australia, Canada, Germany, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and the U.K. Prior to her current position, Goucher spent three years as CMA’s Senior Manager of International Relations & Development, following six years on the organization’s Business Affairs team. Before that, she held a position on the Business Affairs team at Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) for four years. Goucher began her career in music as a college radio promoter and publicist for Pirate! Promotions.
